ON THE GRILL
-Burgers with lemon-butter centers
-Hebrew National hot dogs wrapped in bacon (you know you want one)
-Spicy Shrimp with cilantro
-Multi-colored carrots rubbed with cumin, salt, pepper, brown sugar
-Red, yellow, orange peppers, fennel, onions
-Corn served with curry-powder-laced yogurt and minced onion
-Maui Gold pineapple served with spicy peanut sauce and chiffonade of basil
-’Smores – traditional
NOT ON THE GRILL – HOMEMADE AND STILL DELICIOUS
-Baked beans
-Cole Slaw
-Potato Salad
and yes, the sparkling wine came from Costco – and it wasn’t half bad
Best part of the day was definitely the company. Six old friends who share July 4th every year.
